Man, it feels good being focused. The past couple weeks saw me being a lazy ass. Not gonna make this post too long, just felt a need to make that known. Back on the grind, making things happen. Listening to MC’s that inspire me (Brother Ali, Raekwon, Royce Da 5′9″…man, can’t wait till the new Rakim drops) always helps me out when I get distracted or apathetic. Aight, back to work. Peace.

I know what you mean. Nothing feels better than focus and motivation after you’ve been out of it for a while. That’s where I’ve been lately — out of it — but I’ll be back. And I love how when you get motivated to do one thing right, everything else seems to fall into place with it. That’s how it works for me, at least.
Anyway, our mutual friend, Lj introduced me to your music and let me just tell you I’ve been listening to Flashes of Greatness nonstop that last couple of days and absolutely love it. In it, you mention you don’t rely on big time producers and all you need is a simple beat, but I still love the beats and production throughout, not to mention the flow and the lyrics. It’s all strong from top to bottom and I’ve had “I think that I drink too much, but I drink ’cause I think too much” running through my head all day. Damn, I love that line.
Enough of that though — just wanted to drop a line and give some props. Can’t wait for Destined For Greatness.
